Give me your expert opinion/ experience on alternators.
I'm going to put a 100 amp on the 67Fairlane, it has a 60 amp on it now.
Would like go with a 1 wire type.

    The reason?
I'm hoping for brighter head lights. Has Halogens now but doesn't help much.
Converting to electronic ignition,w/ hotter coil.:D
Will be installing a nice stereo. Ect
    Give me you feedback.
    Thanks Rick

    Perhaps a relay might help.

Improve the Grounds, Change the Alternator with proper wiring, add a voltmeter. I have two working alternators. both look the same, only the 60 AMP is smaller. the 70 AMP runs right up to 109 AMPs on a testing machine. My H4 halogens are as bright as daylight! No relays.

I did this for the grounds, and don't need relays for the Halogens, but I'll probably add them to minimize the sudden loads on the charging system.
