Hello to fellow station wagon fans, I found this web site while searching for direction with the restoration of my 1995 Roadmaster wagon. I have finally decided to make a commitment to my favorite station wagon. My plans are to undertake the following upgrades: body repair and paint, restore the wood grain, replace the headlining, and replace the carpeting. Because the driver seat has a broken spring I hope to find a replace seat with a matching passenger mate. I bought my first station wagon, a 1996 Pontiac La Manns, when I graduated from graduate school in Richmond, VA, and moved to the mountains of NC to teach college level art. My interest was to have a car suited for carrying my paintings. I am still painting pictures and I have always owner a station wagon to this day. When GM stopped making wagons I switched to Plymouths and Dodges until they stopped making wagons. I traded a Ford Taurus wagon for the Roadmaster when it came available as a ‘cream puff’. I will get some pictures together and post them soon.
WF66. There's lots of GM B body owners here so I'm sure you'll get more information than you'll ever need.
Welcome WF66. Glad you found us. There are quite a few devotees to your wagon style and I'm sure you will get a ton of assistance and encouragement. Of course pictures are much desired so don't let that wagon be camera shy. Barry
