The names T.W. Day and I have an original condition 1978 Ford LTD Country Sedan that I purchased from the estate of the original owner. I have owned it for about 5 years and it is now a part of the family. We call him "Max". We use Max to travel on our vacations to the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. We also drive Max to car shows and on nice days just around town doing errands. We get quite a few thumbs up from folks when we are out on the town. We are in Yorktown, VA.
Thanks for the warm welcome Hi again, and thanks for the warm welcome! This website is great and I'm surprised it took me so long to find it and then only by accident. As soon as I can I will post pics on the site of Max. According to my wife and our two girls still living at home Max is a guy. Too big and brawny ro be a girl I am told. LOL
Well.....Rev can't read and his dog types for him. See....most people saw that Max was a guy in your very first post. Sometimes the Rev and his dog get it mixed up and the dog tries to read and the Rev tries to type. But......thanks, twday, for clearing it up for the Rev. And his dog.
That OK LOL You folks sound like a fun, family oriented bunch. I look forward to staying in touch. Thanks again from all those who welcomed us onboard. T.W.
Yeah! Another Vuh-ginian!..and a Tidewateran too! TW! Welcome. Great car! Got to love that floaty Ford ride! Let me know what shows are going on up on the Peninsula if you do that sort of thing. I always go to the Lee Hall Show in August and the CLC Show in SEP. Beach Ford hosts the SEVMC group for "Fordtoberfest" in OCT. Also- every Saturday evening we "car corral" on Independence Boulevard (1085 Independence Blvd, VA Beach) just a little south of Little Creek NAB. Several good looking wagons come around here. Hope to see you around!
aboard, T.W. and Max. We're a pretty wacky family of assorted oddballs and amusing characters here as you can tell. Enjoy your stay with us.
Hello! Well Jaxops I'll let you know of any other shows that come up. I'll look forward to you letting me know about any southside shows. This year I will be putting my station wagon in the Lee hall show. T.W. Day
