Well I have been a member for over a year and have never introduced my self. I presently own a 1995 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. I have to say that I have loved wagons ever since my dad bought his first wagon in the early 60's. It was a 1957 chevy. He always had one until he passed away. His second and the first one that I got to drive was a 1964 Impala. The next and my all time favorite was a 1969 Kingswood with a 300 HP 350, it was alot of fun to drive especially with the breather cover turned over. (don't guess that any of you quadrajet owners ever did that) His last was a 1977 Chevy woody. My mom gave it to an unfortunate family with 6 kids.(I hope that the new owner got the "wagon fever" that we all have) In the future I hope to have a 1971 Chevelle wagon to make a daily driver or the make a deal with an elderly man that has a 1969 Buick Special Deluxe wagon that I have had my eye on. Thanks to all of the ones that administer this site, my only regret is that I cannot spend much time visiting. Firehaus

:Welcome:Firehaus. Good story. I think there are many here that have fond memories with the family in wagons from the 50s and 60s. In my case two cross country trips visiting many of our national parks in the 66 Bel Air towing a 1963 Apache Eagle camper trailer. What fond memories.

Even if you only visit once in a while keep us updated on the wagon(s). Even us Ford and Mercury guys get all excited about Chevy and Buick wagons too.

:Welcome: Glad you stopped being just a lurker. :D

Ah, the old flip the air cleaner cover over to increase flow trick, eh?
Nah... none of us would have done that would we? :slap: :rofl2:
I finally went for a nice chrome open sided cleaner, but I used that old trick for years.
