Norm: I got an E-mail buddy in Spruce Grove, Alberta. He tells me about the temps of -40 in the Winter. Don't see how you guys stand it.

Those with a few bucks fly to Mexico or Arizona or anyplace with human temps.

The rest of us talk ourselves into believing that we're tough and winter is fun...

Except for these holiday partyers - she froze to death in a bus shelter::confused:

thats so sad, man i'm not going to complain about our low 30 high 20 degree weather anymore. yesterday i took off the heater hoses and it had alot of lime buildup in them so me and dad flushed out the heater core. its blowing a little warmer but still not great so next monday i'll try a t-stat and if that doesn't do it back to square 1.

Hate to tell you, but your core is probably about stopped up. Run water through both ways and that will probably dislodge some of the scale. A new 'stat will help, too, most likely. A good flushing with chemicals will help the whole system. Good luck!

First- I haven't read the whole thread- did you try simply replacing the radiator cap? Loss of pressure will produce no heat. Had the same problem on my '78 Monza wagon.
