Being a newbie, Hope Im not to forward , but what the heck, I would like to welcome any forum members wanting to join our 4th annual Car/Shop weekend road trip. Not exclusive to wagons , but I can think of 5-6 who have participated, my self included with the 65 Chevelle. Car Shop is my business,for those unfamiliar, I have been in the speed shop business over 25 years. I participated in a early Hot Rod Power Tour and had a great time. So my wife Mary and I ,along with our staff decided to host a few of our friends and customers on our own version. Based from Moline Illinois, we have toured Wisconsin twice, Did Rt 66, in 2008, and hit Hannibal Mo this year.. Starting with a dozen cars,in 2004, it has grown to almost 60 cars on the road this year 2010s trip will be a "Ramble up the River" to Minnesota.. Details are not final yet, but the dates are firm. OK...now I know the place. I was there ages ago but didn't hang around because I was writing a story about a city farther north for a friend of mine that owned a newspaper. Lots of people around that talk about Elmers.
