    I ...%&$#@! hate snow. my car is green under all the roadsalt shell!
    its now a game to see which fluid i have to dump into the shipwreck when i stop for gas! oil? tranny? washer? ....nope All 3!

    they over salt the streets here,....we're talking piles on the corners! yet...the alley behind my house where my parking pad and Buick shed are... is a solid sheet of ice! no joke i have to hit my brakes when i pass the far side of my neighbors property lest i slide on past my house.

    i had my window part way down on the way home, now everything tastes like salt!
    pittsburgh doesnt get all that many sunny days as it is so add to it a constantly depressing overcast! ....i hate winter!!!!

    Anywhere that the sun is shining and the plant life is green. A1 is right about the grey days....very depressing. Winter has no redeeming factors to me anymore. Maybe the look of things after a fresh snow fall....but, then it's back to reality.

    You can have Australia, too many deadly critters for my liking. Its beautiful in the Philippines right now too. This is the time of year they consider summer, even though they are in the norther hemisphere, they are close enuff to the equator for it to be nice and toasty all year, even during the monsoon season. Plus the women are better looking there then in Australia.

    It warms my heart to see the rest of the continent getting all the snow instead of us.
    I have not yet used a shovel here, just brushed off the car a couple of times so far, knock on wood...
    I don't mind the cold but snow just means work. :whip:

    well, i love the thought of austrailia the critters dont bother me ....some of em are tastey. its the gun laws there that i dont like!
    id settle for florida. id love the ft lauterdale area....but i pray everynight before i go to bed that my wife gets transfered to verizons st petersburg call center! i can hang out with bstout!

    im just trying to deal now......with a cup of hot chocolate and one of my favorite christmas cookies.....pfefferneuse! ....hmm christmas cookies...i need to post in the lounge!

    I wouldn't mind going to FL for a few months during the winter, A1....but I don't like it way down by Miami much. Sure wish I still had my ocean front condo in the Sand Castle in Ponce inlet. Man, do I miss that.
