If you say my name 3 times while looking in the mirror I appear...

Anyhow I sent the guy his down payment today, I have the meeting with my broker buddy on tues. I just met with his dad (broker's dad) today and am putting the security system in his house tomorrow so there is love all around with that customer.

I am a total ebay newb so I had to resort to sending a postal money order overnight to the former wagon owner since I didn't have pay pal set up for a transaction and don't use credit cards, so I couldn't do a fast transaction. I will be sending the guy the rest of his dough shortly. I am in no rush for pickup yet, so I am patiently waiting for broker buddy to tell me what I can get. That way before I deal with other companies I have an edge... so the update on shipping will come tues or later.

I'm super duper excited I just have a lot on my plate at the moment so I have to take my time and do it correctly besides selling I am trying to grow our little dealership and also my ex wife wants to reconcile and put our family back together. So with all that and my recent move to Tampa I am juggling a lot.

Believe me I want that wagon ... I just have to do it right!

I am going to follow up on the 76 tomorrow. I will let you guys know how that goes.

I find out from my guy about the shipping tomorrow. I have my title and all is well there and I am happy so far with that.

Next order of business ... would a moderator mind moving this thread over to like the general section or the intro page or something? I don't think we should keep clogging the actively sold board with our conversation or we can start another thread I guess.

Ok one last thing I tried posting an alert on a wagon for sale once before but it never took so same thing will a mod or someone please post this?

Too many projects and not enough time. What a rare find! 1963 Chevy II Nova 400 station wagon. Yes, it's a Nova STATION WAGON. Not many of these around! I "rescued" this car from a junkyard 10 years ago. Started restoring it to drive it, but have too many other projects going. The wagon runs and drives. First thing I did was rebuild the entire brake system so it would stop too. Car is still a long way from being road worthy due to it not being open road tested and the floorpans being rusted out. A new pair of full length floorpans (cost nearly $400 with shipping) are included with the car (U-install). Car is pretty much complete, but needs body work and paint. Original color was white, but someone in the car's past gave it a poor baby blue paint job and it's peeling off. White is showing through in places. Notice the tailgate is in great shape and the quarter panels- especially the spare tire well- aren't flapping in the wind from terminal rust. Doors are rusted out, but I'm including some spare doors off of sedans for extra "guts" (hinges, handles, linkages, regulators, glass) and some of the skins are in better shape than the ones on the wagon. All chrome is accounted for. Missing pass door piece is inside car and included. Interior is rough. Headliner cloth is gone, but bows are still there. Have extra set of correct used red interior door panels that go with car. Dash has rust holes near speaker grill from a rat nest I cleared out, but I have another dash cut from another Nova that goes with car. Carpet is still in it, but there isn't much underneath holdng it up. 13" rims with original hubcaps. Tires have good tread, but are 10 years old and probably a bit dry rotted by now. Roof luggage rack is not attached. I just set it on the roof to demonstate it. Thought it would be a neat option, but didn't want to make it permanent. It's included with the car. Frame and rockers good. New points and coil put on a few months ago. Here's a project you crank up and drive up onto the trailer for a steal! I don't have a title for the car, but will provide a bill of sale. Restore or have a fortune in parts to resell. Don't let this one get away. 407-292-4880 or email rustycocker1@yahoo.com

ALRIIIIGHTTT!! Glad to hear THAT, Lex. I can't WAIT to see more pix of that car. Hope I didn't steer you wrong. But...for the money I KNOW I didn't. Let's hope the engine problem is simple.
And....why are you wanting this thread moved??

PM Stef....Wagonmaster....and see what he says. He's the man. He owns the site and it's his call.
And we couldn't have a better wagonmaster so he will do what's right for the forum regarding the thread.

What a great read. I just found this thread. WTG Lex. Nice find.
It was fun reading all the positive posts. Sounds to me like the little wagon is going to a great home. Can't wait for more pic's.

Yeah, Dat! I'm SO happy about this one. When I spotted it I made it my Fox pick of the week. It has an engine problem but I don't think it's too serious. I could be wrong but, even so, I told Lex that I thought it was going to go for under a thousand bucks and, I'll be darned, he went for it and snared it for 800 & change! The car just looks like an honest car to me and when I used to go to the auction I could spot the honest ones from a block away. Can't hardly wait till Friday to see more pix of it! Get the camera ready, Lex!

Hey Lex, great score... And the shipping was fantastic! I just bought a '58 out in CA and it cost me $900 to get it here to Cocoa Beach and I thought that was a deal. I was going to give you his name/number, but you obviously found a better one.
There was a Matador for sale over here, just around the corner from my house, but it was a while back. I'll keep an eye out for it. There is also a guy that has two of them for sale but I forget the years. I think he wanted something like $1500 for both of them. I'll keep my eye out for you....
