Hello, Had no idea this forum existed. I have a 66' Fury III with a 66' Imperial 440 in it with "work" done to it. I have had it 10 years and have done EVERYTHING under the sun in it. It's been my refuge, obsession, workhorse, pride, and transportation over the years. Can't think of anything I would sell/trade it for, let alone would beat it down the track for a street car. This car gives the middle finger to anyone I want it too!
Hi Furious Wagon Dude.... I just found this site myself a couple of days ago. It seems to be frequented by some pretty friendly and helpful wagon lovers. Let's see some pics of the wagon. I don't know of any fury wagons here in Louisiana. Lee
to the wagon train, betwag. You will find that most of our members feel pretty much the same about their wagons, too. That's a beauty you have there!
Welcome bettywagon! Love your furious Fury III, and the great things you have done to it. The wheels are perfect! Very nice! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima You're gonna like it here...and there are a few really nice Furys in the group, too! David
funny how the mid 60's Mopars seem to be born to have TT style wheels on them eh? very nice...almost a clone for my pals up here...sans the hood scoop...beers over there.......
Thank you Thank you for all the kind comments. I'm a new guy here and it's nice to receive such a warm welcome. You know, I should take it to the track to see what time she'll actually run. I have...um...participated in the "other" form of racing and she will beat most newer mustangs, camaros, etc. I try to take it easy on her most of the time though because I do use her for my family outings once in a while. My wife and kids absolutely love cruising in her. I won't bore you with all the details, but she's more like an old friend that never let's you down. THANKS AGAIN!
I'm rather fondly aware of the "other form" of racing. Isn't the best, but everyone plays once in a while. I've noticed even my stock 318 wagon walks right away from just about everything I've tried...
Don't sound like no Betty wagon to me - a 66' Fury III with a 66' Imperial 440... Sounds like one of the hottie-wagons.
