Hi, I just found this website today. Pretty cool..... I currently have a 67 Belvedere II project wagon and a 2005 Magnum wagon. I'm a car guy that's hooked on Mopars and Mustangs, but for some strange reason I like all makes of wagons. Go figure..... Lee
Welcome Lee. I saw that 69 in your handle and was gonna call you the General Lee! Good to have you and your Mopars. Don't forget the pics.
Lee, welcome to the forum. I think you'll fit right in here. If you ever do figure out what that "strange reason" is, please let the rest of us know because we're all in the same boat with you!
I too am hooked on Mopars and though I want a 67 Belvedere II wagon like yours, I too can appreciate other American makes of wagons. Please post photos of your Belvedere wagon.
Hey guys, here are some photos Here is a link to some pictures of my cars. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fatboy1026/ The mustang is driven regularly, the Charger just came out the paint shop and I just finished putting the motor together, and the wagon is a running and driving project. It's a 318 auto, ac, ps, pb 9 passenger wagon. I plan on doing it after the Charger is complete if I don't find a new home for it. Lee
:2_thumbs_up_-_anima:2_thumbs_up_-_anima:2_thumbs_up_-_anima, Nice toys, I love all makes perioud but I am a Furd guy since diapers...that 69 Mach 1 is stunning! A Charger, you have a charger, oh man how I would love a Charger but the 68 with it's one year only tail ites is my dream. That wagon looks to have the potential, hard to tell from the pics but it looks like ust over all surface rust on the floors..is that rite?
The wagon is extremely solid. Its all light surface rust on the car and the floorboards. The passenger side rear floor had a bad battery lying on its side when I got the car and that ate through that floor pan. The only real rustthrough on the car is at the very bottom of the spare tire well. It has a hole about the size of a quarter. The pics are from the day I brought the car home. I then treated all the rust with a rust neutralizer and now have the car stored in a dry location. When I bought it the car had been in a pasture for about 10 years. The engine wasn't seized so i put a Petronix ignition and rebuilt the carb and cleaned the gas tank and it started right up. It has a good bit of blowby but I have driven it a couple of miles just to find out how it drives and shifts. Lee
