By "Grade II," does that make it a candidate for preservation? And, I saw the 'Rootes' name on the left column; was this building the Rootes factory?
Grade II means it has protected status and permissible alterations to its external appearance are extremely limited. It used to be a factory initially, but later became a dealership only.
