What an odd duck. Am/fm 8 track and that’s it. Not even wheel opening moldings. 10k? I get it the milage, but the minute you put any miles on it, it’s a $2,500 Granada.

Perusing the '78 Granada brochure on-line, I was surprised to find you could not get the 4-speed manual/overdrive transmission in California that year. For the Granada, California was all 'automatic'.

The 4-speed manual overdrive trans was standard in the Granada that year and '77(except for Calif). A 3-speed manual was standard in '75 and '76.

Man, back in the late 80's I remember seeing a '75 Granada with a column mounted manual shifter. Never seen another one. Gotta be quite scarce....

They are. I've only seen two in the 45 years I've paid attention to cars: the one I drove (and stalled/flooded on a lonely back road) in Driver's Ed, and the one customer in '06 or '07 who kept his s#!tbox going despite the cost of doing so. I did the work on it, test drove it, because I was the only one who knew how to shift a 'tree branch' (what Dad called a three-on-the-tree).

Now what. If you start driving it, it’ll drop
Like a rock. Good luck. You certainly have the only one.

Too bad they didn't spring for the Ghia package, which gave the car front buckets and a console.

Hell they didn’t even spring for a LH remote mirror. That’s a plain Jane baby! Unfortunately the milage is it’s only selling feature.
