Thanks for accepting me to the forum! I just bought my first station wagon, a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis Colony Park LS. It's had one previous owner and has 79K original miles. It has all options including the trailer towing package. I'm retired and currently the Director of the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club Western Region. I own four Lincolns, a '64 convertible, '71 Mark III, '88 Mark VII Bill Blass, and 2015 MKZ. I just sold a '98 Mark VIII to buy the station wagon. As has been said, if Lincoln built a station wagon, the Colony Park would be it! Looking forward to being a part of this community.
Hello Linc64 and welcome to the forum! I'd like to introduce you to another of our members, @60Mercman who you seem to have a lot in common with (a lot as in number of vehicles). We're glad you're here!
Hey Linc ‘64. Welcome to the Forum. I too was the NM regional LCOC director a 1000 years ago, and was able to acquire some lovely Continentals and Marks. I had a ‘64 sedan many moons ago and currently own some Marks, a ‘78 Town Coupe, and several Colony Parks. Look forward to perhaps some photo swaps and PM’s. Welcome aboard. My most recent Lincoln was in conjunction with another great member here, “Orthmann”. This was his father in laws ‘73 with 37,000 miles on it. Lots of great folks on here. I only have 2 panther Colony Parks, but several 4 doors. Your CP is beautiful. Welcome and enjoy!
Thanks 60Mercman! Love the '73 Continental. It always amazes me how cars like that show up with such low mileage. Here are some pics of my other cars.
Like your ‘88. I have an ‘86 Bill Blass in Sandalwood. The ‘64 is so elegant. My ‘78 Town Coupe came to me via a phone call from the son of the 93 year old owner. They were taking mom’s keys and googled NM LCOC. 1 owner 59,000 mile car. I’ve been very fortunate
