I don't recall ever seeing one of these colored tangerine. Looks good, though IMHO. Shot in Japan

 

'Tangerine'...? Certainly appears to be on the 'maroon' scale, to me. Anybody else?

Colorblind red/green as I'm, I'm seeing it as a dark shade of Tangerine or maybe faded red, as in the first two uploaded images where the sun hits . Pretty color, though

 

If it's a high quality paint (hard to tell from inner net photos on a computer screen. but it appears to be) and depending on what other colors were used in the mixing of it, the finished product can have a ton of depth and look one way in direct light and look a completely different way when shaded.

In all three photos the majority of the vehicle is in the shadows, and I agree the color looks more maroon/reddish. However the areas that are in the direct sunlight, such as the hood, certainly have a more orangish hue. I think if it was completely in the direct sun it would definitely look more "tangerine".

 

I can't imagine it being a factory color. In any event, I don't recall seeing any Wagoneer painted that color
