It does look really damn nice. I wish I had paint and body skills so I could do my own cars! I hesitate to ask how much such a car will be worth when done because I know those Dodge cars are ridiculously sought after. A buddy of mine found one for $400 that was in the same shape as this one when you first posted it, but rustier. He ended up selling it that same day for $3500 and still had people calling him for 3 days after.
Well this 69 Bee that I painted about 7 years ago has sold twice since for just over $100k if that gives you an idea.

Yeah, it deserves a frame and to get hung in a hallway at Chrysler's headquarters Maybe, that wouldn't be such a good idea. Think of the dent it would leave
Thought I would post a few pictures of the things we are doing to the Cavalier (I have to think of a name for it). First issue is the rear driver's side brakes were seized. Everything has been unseized and new parts ordered. Something as basic as brakes turned out to be a bit of a challenge, but we finally found them on Rock Auto. Fingers crossed they will be here tomorrow. Second issue are all the windows. After a bit of tinkering hubby now has the driver's side both front and back going up and down. The front passenger glass now works but the back needs a new plastic cable, some of the teeth are broken. Hubby removed the seats and carpet to check out the condition of the floor. There are a few holes on the driver's side that will need repair. The frame is in good shape. But one of the seat runners needs to be replaced. The passenger side had a bit of surface rust which hubby has sanded and repainted. Today hubby discovered that the emergency brake cable needs to be replaced. Once that is replaced, it will be on to the front. While the seats and carpet are out of the car we have them in the basement. I have cleaned them, they look a lot better but have faded over forty years. On the back seat you can see the print of the seatbelt bucket, guess no one sat back there much.
Yeah, I have my fair share of non-wagon projects in addition to my wagon project. My 68 charger is nearing completion. The plan has always been to move forward with the wagon as soon as the Charger was done. But, a couple months ago I bought a 66 Dodge Polara. All indications indicated that it was a very solid car. Even looked solid looking up at it when it was up on the lift. But, I went to just replace the carpet and found the floor pans to be rusty. So, now that car's floor has become the current project. Once the Charger and convertible are done and I'm moving forward again on the wagon, I intend to get my 68 Barracuda 340-S fastback into a body shop for some rust repair in the quarters and paint. And then finally there's the 68 340 GTS that had the misfortune of horrible body work in it's past long before I had it. This one needs all new floors and ,ay need the reproduction quarter panels replaced as well as the idiot who did the body work years ago attached them with expanding foam. These projects should keep me occupied till I'm about 120 years old.
i love this site, it alows us to show what wer workin on. i posted the van pic, im doing king pins and front end work. the superbee needs intieor work. im having the engine rebuilt in the ford-428 4spd. and wile thats all goin on im restorinf a 61 chevey apache. some may look done. but, there nevery really done lol
