We had the 49th Vintiques show here a couple of weekends ago. Just now getting around to sharing the pics I took. I was quite surprised at how many wagons were actually in attendance. Nice 56 Nomad Super nice 56 210 I really liked the colors on this 57 210 Pretty sweet 1960
A nice 55 that looks like it’s in factory colors. Though it looks like they may have used the paint codes for modern cars. Sweet red and black 57 Nomad. Red and black 57 handyman.
These are just in the order I came upon them. There are no class or specific year/make/model parking assignments at the Vintiques show. And fear not FoMoCo fans. There are definitely some blue oval cars in the mix. Mercury Comet You’ll recognize this one Bill 56 Ford Country Looks like a 68 to me. But I’m not 100% sure. Falcon for sale in the swap meet area.
More chivy’s First gen Nova Another 57, this one a four door gasser I actually really liked this one. It’s not a practical ice cream getter, but I bet it would be a hoot to drive. Black 57 Nomad Unrestored 55 Nomad. I’ve seen this car before. It’s pretty rad. My buddy (and coworker)’s two tone mint and white Dodge pickup is in the background

I have to say though that the most amazing car I saw the entire weekend was the one of none “what if” 1955 Ford Premiere. I’ve seen this thing in magazines and in online articles. But was absolutely incredible to see in person. The attention to detail was phenomenal. Truly remarkable. And my favorite part is that I t’s not a trailer queen. The husband and wife who own it drive it.
I know lots of people consider panels longroofs. But they’re not wagons in my opinion. However, I do loooooove a good panel.
There were a couple of vintage race cars there that had been found and brought back to life. Pretty freakin awesome.
