I'm watching the old Gerry & Sylvia Anderson show "UFO," and in this episode (ep. 8), Straker's son gets hit by a car. The ambulance the kid was transported in was a '66 Ford Ranch Wagon ambulance.

So I'm watching the first episode of 'Malcolm in the Middle,' and in the scene where Francis is 'apologizing' for things he did wrong; one was the 'Family Truckster' wagon in a fully-involved fire, in the background!

Appearantly, this is one of those television series that never got shown in the Midwest and, more than likely, in Southern states. Perhaps, because there was a scene or two of which overstepped the South's and Midwest's more traditional moral standard's bounds? Here's some insight into some of the behind-the-scenes politics influencing this series' filming:

So I have a deposit from a buyer for my white wagon. Looks like it will be going away this weekend. That's good, cause it's
replacement, a 66 Dodge Polara convertible, arrived a couple weeks ago. Meanwhile, there is finally a little progress on the tan wagon. Before Covid, I bought original upholstery material to redo the seats from SMS. Recently, I tasked Roy's Upholstery, right in my little town with replicating the original seat patterns using the new SMS material. I stopped by today and checked on the progress. What they've accomplished so far looks amazing! Perhaps the tan wagon will start coming together soon.

Oh, wow, is that the original factory pattern and colors? Or did you decide to take the seats up a notch? And, good show on the white wagon sale; any convertible in decent shape is a good thing. Of course, pics in the correct forum are always welcome.

Just from the one pic above, I wholeheartedly approve (and am a bit envious). I even like the colors inside.

Yes. Original seat colors, material and pattern. The rolls of material alone, from SMS was stupid expensive. I'm afraid of what the total will be for the upholstery shop working their magic with it.
