My dad bought one new, I remember him being upset he couldn’t get an 8- track in it and then wondering why they would put the dimmer switch on the steering column.
Sadly both Ford and GM have on occasion snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. That’s why radical change in any body style can be dicey.
