1932 Packard Deluxe Eight Model 903 Convertible Victoria for sale on BaT Auctions - ending December 10 (Lot #92,513) | Bring a Trailer
Crank windows, manual locks, no A/C, no power steering or brakes. Not even a radio. This stripped down Packard is practically a death trap.
No seat belts and mechanical drum brakes! Definitely a gorgeous car but you can't really drive it anywhere.
I don't know about that. I live in a very rural area and my Dad had a 1935 Ford Fordor sedan with mechanical brakes and no seat belts, one tail light, and we drove it a lot. Depends on your setting, I guess.
This concern about brakes and all is pointless. No one is going to drive this $150,000+ car anywhere but from the trailer to the show field and then back from the show field to the trailer. It might get in a parade now and then, but then it will be going 5 mph. I think the mechanical brakes can handle that. It is unusual to see a car like this on BaT, and there are the usual naysayers that always make me wonder why anyone would sell a car there, but there it is.
My post of this being a daily driver was a joke. I don't think anyone would use this as a daily driver. beautiful Car.
Yeah, no kidding. Since my Grandpa Fred was a Packard Man, but has been gone nearly a half Century, there's no way for me to know if his '32 was this model or not.
