On Ebay. Haven't seen this one before. I would remember the unusual color scheme. White ones of these typically have a white, red, or blue vinyl top, but this one has a very attractive lavender top. Conventional red pillow-top (non-leather) interior. Odometer says 22.6k, which looks quite believable. The only flaw I can see is that the door armrest vinyl on each side has cracked and peeled, and they've employed the standard duct tape/shipping tape repair. These armrests were well worn on my '77 as well, and I had them recovered at a local upholstery shop. Tons of photos, but many of the exterior shots are redundant in that they're from the same angle but in a different location, with a building in the background on sheet, a group of trees in another, etc. It's almost like he's trying to show that the car looks great no matter what it's in front of. Bidding is not strong so far. The car has been listed for about a week, and the auction expires in less than a day as of this writing. His BIN is $14,995, and the bidding is currently not even a quarter of that at $3600. Of course, we don' t know what the reserve is. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394321075151?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=47fa8ac0af0842c99adac52bcf32f90f&bu=43187981019&ut=RU&exe=0&ext=0&osub=-1~1&crd=20221106022610&segname=11021 The unfortunate armrests. The driver's side is much worse, which is not surprising. But black tape? I think you can get duct tape in red.
The price on this has been dropped from $14,995 to $11,995. He may have to go some because the first auction ended with a high bid of only $3600 against the BIN of nearly $15k. But he is doing better the second time around as the bidding is currently up to $6170. It has a few issues, but it's a nice car. Demand for these is just never more than tepid. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3943544723...=0&osub=-1~1&crd=20221129024740&segname=11021
That's the issue with a lot of cars like this. There is dedicated, but small, group that is interested in them. They are an acquired taste.
