It has continued to stay as the front runner. I do love the way it changes dramatically in different light.

Just a shout out to you who have watched along, feeling thankful tonight for the advice, opinions, and comrade. I am currently working on collecting parts for Doc. Next week I will be ordering dropped spindles from Fatman fabrication. They are a 2.5in drop and also convert the front to disc brakes using 77 Granada rotors and 70’s Camaro calipers and pads. Both very common parts found in any parts store. One step that must be taken is the wheels must be modified or replaced as the originals have a smaller center bore diameter and will not fit the rotors. As for now I will be rocking the stock steelie look I ordered a pair of 15x6 wheel vintiques type 62 wheels with a 3.75in backspace. These wheels have a bigger center bore and still allow me to use my poverty caps. This week I bought a pair of 2018 mustang gt seats I will be wiring them initially for movement and later to use the heat and cool functions. I will post a how to when I get to that project. A couple of quick notes on these seats they are very comfortable and they have a completely flat base making them easy and worthy of use in an older muscle car these particular ones came from a very low mile car and the leather is in perfect shape. 69C33AAD-918F-4D68-97D7-71A1717EEF03.jpeg as for now I’m still contemplating my color palate but I need to decide soon as I need to paint my wheel before mounting the tires. If you have some other suggestions I’m all ears.

Ordered my spindles from fatman fabrications today because who doesn’t need another 2 1/2in drop on air ride lol plus they are a disc brake conversion. They said the parts were in stock I’ll post up some pics when they arrive. I’ve been saving for months for these. I’m very excited.

I feel like Aired out it has a bit of a tail dragger look. I prefer just a little rake. Hopefully they will be here next week sometime.

As I’ve been all over the map I am going to start working on systems from the ground up. Now that the body is finally at rest I can start bolting parts on. That said I am going to attempt to stick to a plan for each year and see where we get. Because finances are tight, working in this way should help keep Doc on track and continually moving forward. So the goal for this year is steering brakes and suspension. I am looking into Hotchkis and PMT control arms and sway bars, upgraded steering, and 4 wheel disc brakes. My goal is to make Doc drive and handle as good as it looks. Next year I will likely finish up drivetrain fuel and wiring. The next year will focus on body and paint and last but not least year 4 interior. Can I do it? Who knows but that is the plan. That said after ordering my spindles I ordered new tie rods, and idler arm, and a Borgeson quick ratio 14:1 steering box. Still needed is a pitman arm but I am waiting until the box is here to verify if I will need the ford or Saginaw arm. I suspect it’ll need the Saginaw as the borgeson unit is a Saginaw design. Today the weather was on the good side right around 55 degrees and so I was able to paint the new wheel vintiques series 62 wheels needed to clear the brake rotors. I used rustoleum professional gloss black, the weather plays well allowing the paint to flow out and lay smoother but takes forever to dry! 208DDE42-05F4-48AB-8780-DAC2ED94996D.jpeg 4E6A0AE5-A653-4CF6-9D86-4A5D5652DAFA.jpeg D0C2AF8F-6755-4B13-BC29-FEC5E23F6DF5.jpeg

Took a bit of a hiatus while I drained my savings for my new daily driver. But I’ll be back hard at it in a few months. 5E76C65C-B621-4827-9271-593A26D6FB5D.jpeg 7B7221C3-F1FE-4817-9B85-1BEF09E142D6.jpeg

I have to admit, the current iteration of the Mustang hasn't really done it for me, since the redesign in 2015.
    BUT,
The Mach 1... This is the one. I have been lusting after it since it was revealed last spring.

I hate to admit it but she is a 4cyl clone of a Mach 1. I know, flame me if you must. But as both my parents owned Mach 1’s I want one too but alas I do not have 80k to buy one. So I made a daily driver tribute.
