They’re really proud of it. Maybe they’re looking for the flash cash Donka Donk crowd. I could see it for a 1,200 mile ‘66 first issue loaded to the gills /396 car but not a ‘90. But what do I know. These auctions have been making a liar out of me for 6 months.
1990 was the last year for the box Caprice - at 1200 miles it is a new 30 year old car. The catch is - to preserve the value, you cannot drive it - strictly a museum piece.
I agree, if it were priced at about 1/2 the asking price it might be a good summer cruiser. But at $45K you can't drive it or you would lose your shirt. I always disliked the door mounted seat belts on the late 80's B-Bodies. And the colors on this one are ho hum, not awful jut not really attractive either. It is fairly well optioned. I just can't see it selling for any thing like the asking price though.
