Have you seen this one? currently for sale in Los Angeles. Thought I'd share. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/ctd/1423282471.html
Unusual to say the least.... Never have I seen an Eldorado from the 70s turned into a station wagon!! It looks like a really nice conversion. It is so odd because these Eldorados emphasized the long low hood. Hopefully it finds a good home!
Yeah- that very very vehicle has been on here before. Been for sale for quite a while. Uses the 'wagon' part from a '73 - '77 GM intermediate to make it a station wagon.
Guy over on the Impala SS forum just spotted this...... Eldo wagon based on the '67 - '69 version: (Ugly son-of-a-gun....) http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy35/got_tork/1024091714a12.jpg?t=1256488805
That green 74 has been forsale for a while. It was made for country western signer Glen Campbell. I'm kind of sad to see it forsale at Correntes Cadillac. Cars sit there and rot for decades. That car was recently restored to perfection. Either Corrente bought it to flip it or the seller sent it there on consignment. That car needs to go to a Caddy collector with deep pockets.
You've heard of Frank Corrente back in New Hampshire? (For those of you who've never heard of him, he's kinda the 'Used Cadillac King' of Southern California. Was real big back in the 'Superfly Era'.....TV commercials and everything.......)
I used to see his ads in Hemmings or Cars and Parts magazines years ago. So when I was in Los Angeles in 2004 I made sure to stop by his facility. What a disappointment. It was nothing more than a trailer on a small lot and packed with cars so tight you'd never get one out for a test drive unless you moved ten others first. But in my opinion, most wouldn't start let alone run. They were all in terrible shape. He recently had a 75 Talisman on ebay that looked worse than many cars I've seen in junkyards. His ad said the car was partially restored when he received it over tens years earlier. That just reinforced my opinion of the reglect the cars get and condition of his inventory.
