I built this Corvette Wagon at my Corvette shop in Silvia’s Heights, Illinois back in 1978. Would appreciate knowing
where it is at this time.
    Thanks.

Wow! You built this car? I'd be interested in hearing how the build went. Who was it originally built for?

I owned the car, bought it from a customer who couldn’t afford to finish it. Built it in my “spare” time for my personal use and promoting my Corvette shop.Originally it was a green LT1. After selling the car I saw it once in Bloomington and then never again. The other night I was online and saw the picture posted. For almost 40 years I’ve wondered what ever happened to it.
If you have any info I’d appreciate it.
    Thanks.
My Corvette shop was: Valley Corvette Shop in Silvia Heights, Il.

Very interesting! Unfortunately I don't have any info on the car, but that doesn't mean someone else on here won't. Good luck.

The car above is now located in McHenry Illinois. I would like some history on the car if possible. pawula1@sbcglobal.net upload_2021-2-11_11-59-27.png upload_2021-2-11_11-59-27.png upload_2021-2-11_11-59-27.png

    Nice !!!!

Around 1977 a customer walked into my shop with an Eckler Corvette brochure and I saw a picture of a wagon for the first time..

He had an insurance claim for front end damage on his '73 .... they paid him cash and he could repair it any way he wanted.

Ordered the tilt front kit and it was the sweetest install I had ever done. The Eckler components were perfect quality and fit perfect.
