Great find markfnc ! Just seeing this little Falcon while having my morning coffee made my day. Colors are perfect, 6 cyl 3 on the tree is perfect, dog dishes are perfect. Would not change 1 single thing. Of all the wagons I have seen on this site this is my # 1, even beats out the Datsun 510.

Factoid: 1965 is the FIRST year that Ford did a Falcon Futura wagon. All previous years the non-Squire wagons were labeled either just your basic Falcon wagon, or Falcon with 'Deluxe' trim. This was the first year they got the Futura trim. Also, there wasn't a 2-door with the 'Futura' trim, but they still offered the 'plain' and 'Deluxe' trims in the 2-door.

I agree the only change I would have made buying it new I would have gotten the matching interior. But it is one adorable wagon.

wonder what the original owner would have thought if you told him that his new car would sell for $15k in 55 years?

He would have probably thought that the world had gone crazy. Maybe it has, but I have seen people throw their money at things no where as awesome as that wagon.
