The pics of the Diamond Jubilee Thunderbird I have on my computer, are in that color, which I love and is soooo eye-catching.

What a great looking car. Not always a fan of those wheels but they sure work for me in this color.

I thought I was the only person with fancy painted turbines! Those are puuurdy! Guess they’re factory?

Probably a lot of hand labor at the factory, painting those wheels. I'd imagine they masked the outer rim, shoot the color on the entire spoke area, then buff off the paint on the outer edge of the spokes. Then clear over everything.

Pretty much how I did mine. I’m not a fan of the turbines. They’re very hard to keep clean but some rattle cans of paint and clear coat was a lot cheaper than buying new wheels. Think they look pretty sharp painted though. 18B0CBF8-F17E-4116-B858-0B23CD8A0EAC.png
