Rare 3-speed manual transmission model. https://gainesville.craigslist.org/cto/d/monticello-1980-chevrolet-malibu-wagon/7191200627.html
Closer to me than Darcane's, but still not close enough darn it. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/f...bu-classic-wagon-v6-manual.51463/#post-473319 I have a 400 small block that is DYING to get into one of these...
Mine is even one step less common, it's a Malibu Classic. I've been unable to find anyone else with one. It actually is rather fun to drive. Which is why I've been on the fence about selling it. I really enjoy that little wagon, even though I really don't need it. Anyone that is close to this blue one, snatch it up. I suspect it will sell fast.
Here is a cool older car that will actually fit into the garages and parking spots of todays modern landscape.
In mid 1980 I got some cash and a 1980 Malibu 2-dr with V-6 and 3-speed to tow behind our motorhome in trade for my old 5th wheel RV. It was a basic radio delete basic heater simple car. We loved it, it was peppy, and it towed behind our motorhome like it wasn't there. Gainseville is 50 miles from where we used to live. I'd been on that like a fat lady on a candy bar!
Ours wasn't really terribly slow. I'd often forget it wasn't a small block V-8. The fuel mileage was great. Especially while towing it behind our motorhome!
