At one of the U-Pull yards in San Antonio, this is in their process yard: If I didn't know any better, that roof front has a transverse seam, and though I can't read the script on the rear pillar, it looks to be the same as this Skyliner in a coffee table book I own: What do you all think?
It looks like one, I hope the yard rules allow the purchase of it. I once tried to buy a running and mostly solid 1976 Grand Prix that had just driven into the yard and sold. If I would have known the car was being junked by the driver (the daughter of the original owner) I would have offered her $500 for it. She got $250 for it. The yard would not sell the entire car for some obscure insurance reasoning. I ended up waiting for them to prep it and ruin the oil pan on the 37,000 mile 400 4bbl by poking a hole in the bottom. Takes to long to actually pull the drain plug. I paid $300 for the engine. The car had new tires, brakes (rotors & drums included) new duel exhaust, and only 1 dime sized rust hole in a front fender. I could have drove that as a work car for 10+ years. It was agravating. I hope this car ends better.
It was Grandpas old junk car. Sadly some people have no idea. Oooooh $300, I can get that new pair of running shoes I’ve had my eye on.
It would be interesting to know what its disposition is, for sure. I've been eyeballing the Bronco, hoping it goes out for set sale for a reasonable price.
