It is beautiful and the asking price looks reasonable. There are 6 month old Kias around here that show more wear than this 36 year old 98.
I had an ‘84 Seville in that Sand Grey. That’s a very attractive car, and I think priced in line for what you’re getting.
I think as far as a physical skirt, you’re probably right. I believe the Pontiac Parisienne had a skirt through ‘86-87ish. The redesigned ‘91 98 got an “implied” skirt molded into the rear fender. By 1997 the 98 adopted the open wheel well like it’s 88 sister.
You seized on a moment. The 1984 Olds 98 might very well be the last of the fender skirts. It was redesigned for 1985 as FWD and sans skirts. I cannot think of another American car after 1984 that had fender skirts.
The only one I can think of is the aforementioned Pontiac Parisienne. Think you could still order skirts in ‘86 maybe ‘87
