Pretty car. Whitewalls would really make it pop. Looks good for the price

He says absolutely zero about the car, which is unfortunate. From the looks of it, I'll go one further and say that, not only does it look good for the price, it's downright underpriced for the condition. If it drives as nice as it looks, it's probably worth in the $5,000 to $6,000 range. At his $3,500 asking price, it's a steal.

Look at that interior. Full factory gauge cluster!

It is a steal and a weekend in my garage with a thorough cleaning and a new set of whitewalls would do it wonders!

Just checked, and it still shows available. If I lived within 500 miles of Beloit, that thing would be in my garage so fast it’d make your head swim. It does look like the real deal. I always look, at Ford’s especially at the rear view mirror, which is original, on this one, and the steering wheel on these mid ‘70’s Ford’s. On higher mileage cars the ends by horn and cruise knobs are usually worn or the wood tone is rubbed or flacking. That was a seeming flaw on all of those cars. This one looks really good. PS that looks like an Anthony Cruiser to me Moparfomco man!

That is a lot of maroon and red Ford for the asking price. Looked up the specs and the 79 T-Bird is listed at 217.2" long , the 79 LTD wagon comes in at 214.7", and our 87 Safari wagon is 215.1".

According to Wikipedia, all those are beat by the Ranchero at 220.1 inches. Except mine, Babe was rear-ended once....:oops:

Bill, that looks like a ME cruiser. I'm the one who swooned over these when they were just used cars! While I'm sure Anthony would appreciate it, he seems patient enough for the right Linc or Imperial to come along. Maybe even a fullsize Merc like that '74 from Mass that is on here.

Didja ever notice how many of these are that same color combo as the featured example?

It certainly looks like a "Goombah Grocery Getter."

Possibly, but growing up where I did, it seemed like my Goombah friends and their families were big into the GM fold, like Caddys and the ubiquitous G-body coupes. Not to say there wasn't a few birds or Lincs, but they were vastly outnumbered, just like we Polish were!

Looks surprisingly solid for a Wisconsin car.
