That thing is pretty darn nice and clean. Good color combo too. I could so see myself in this cruising along with the AC on full tilt. Oh yeah.....

Yeah. That’s a really great looking car. My favorite year is ‘77. I like the stand up grill, Continental dash board and fender skirts. I have a ‘78 in triple Wedgewood, but am so so with the fluffed up Mercury dash.

Yo do? You got any pics? Wedgewood is one of my fave colors of these Linc's. so 70's. And immortalized by Billy Joel too.

I'm sorry I guess I should sit down on a shrink's sofa and just come clean about my love and obsession for all 70-79 Connie's. There, I got it off my chest! You guys will have to do! I like 'em in all colors.....One of these (maybe two) on my lottery wish list. My big quandary is a coupe or sedan? or maybe both? '70 or 77-79? How about an oddball 74? Decisions, decisions.....

Hey Moparandfomoco, texted you a couple pics. ‘79 Collectors Series Mark, and the Wedgewood Blue ‘78 Town Coupe. Aloha.

No passenger side mirror had to be rare by 1976.

Yeah especially on Lincoln’s. Still into the late ‘70’s the right hand mirror, and things like intermittent wipers were still optional. Ford started putting them in optional “convenience” group type offerings. Certainly by early ‘80’s not sure you could get a Lincoln without a RH mirror or delay wipers.

That's weird - all 3 of my 60s Mercs have intermittent wipers...
