    This was that oddball Cougar model that looked like a LTD II, never quite understood why they made this one.

    Actually, I think it should've been that Ford not made the LTD II front end, as it was the last of the stacked rectangular headlights; they should have made a Ford version of the Cougar front end, and the Ford sedan should have stuck with the Torino name, instead of 'LTD II.'
