When was the last time you got recognition for your wagon?

Oh man I think a couple of you guys are gonna hate this but I personally love the movie, these came today after a long stressful day, im happy!!!

 

My wife has grown accustomed to strangers approaching, asking questions and taking pictures of her 1960 Falcon.
The best is seeing children's expressions when the wagon drives past them.

 

If mine is running or driving people look due to the pushrod v8 thru flowmasters. Is it a wagon that sounds like a mustang or a mustang that looks like a wagon? The former, but who cares? I do a burnout at a light, it seems, everytime I drive it. I am a rebuild or power adder away from the top 1% or 2%. I am putting a hurt on her everytime I drive her!

 

Yesterday I was driving the Fury home from work and I passed a fellow in a sweet 32 FORD pulling out of a driveway. I gave him a thumbs up as I went by.
He gained on me quickly and caught up to me at the traffic light. I looked over again to give him the "cool car" nod and he hollered "That's a sweet classic wagon man!" and gave me a thumbs up.

Kind of cracks me up when people in cars that I consider to be super cool compliment mine.

I am currently getting things in order for our car show. I had a request for a poster to be mailed to the owner of the property were the show will be held, he is going to run a full page ad in two papers to prompt our show, the Farmers Market that begins that same day and a few other things that will be happening.
So I called his office to get an email address, after speaking with the woman on the phone for a bit I realized we must have spoken last year before the show. When I asked her had we met, she said "I think so, are you the lady who drives the station wagon?"
