Hello to everyone. Not much to tell about myself. I was born and raised in central Ohio, in a little one-stoplight town called Fredericktown. I retired from the Air Force back in '89 after 24 years, and settled in Michigan. Every Winter I kick myself for that. Over the years I've owned six station wagons, my favorite being a beautiful gold '71 Vista Cruiser that I got when I was stationed in Tampa. I loved everything about that car. Then some dang drunk ran a stop sign and turned it into just memories. I've often thought about getting another one, but, I don't know, it just wouldn't be the same. I spend most of my time nowadays building and working on computers. I currently have five of them (seven if you count the laptops). I've been lurking around this great forum for about seven years. In a world of SUV's and minivans it's nice to be among others that appreciate the beauty of wagons. Well, that's my life in a few paragraphs. Steve
I think he does. A 71 Vista Cruiser can be picked up for only four grand these days in running condition. But I too want to welcome you to the forum Steve, regardless.
Was your wagon like this one? Other then rust selfish drivers seem to be the demise of a lot of these wagons. Glad you came out of the dark and joined us.
If he's tinkering with Linux operating systems then we're the ones who're in the dark, if we're not using it ourselves, Ma'am
I too lurked around this site for about a year before I joined, absolutely no regrets - it as much fun as the Crossfire Forum, they too are a little touched, who else would like a car that was sold on Overstock.com. also joined Mercedes and Audi forums - but NEVER look at them - BORNG - welcome
