62 Falcon Sedan Delivery

My '60 Comet didn't have a synchronized 1st gear. Assuming full-synchronization isn't mentioned for the 3-speed only, can we assume that the '62s were fitted with identicle gearboxes as were the '60 models?

 

Thanks for all the replies, I finally got the car on Thursday . The seller put a folding rear seat in it. Folded it completes the last couple feet in the cargo area. Looking forward to doing some work on it when the weather warms up. Has been a brutal winter for us Southerners. I will post some pics tomorrow if the sleet in the forecast doesn't materialize.

Congratulations dulcimerbob on acquiring your '62 Sedan Delivery. I look forward to seeing the progress on your Falcon as I am currently building two, a 1960 Tudor Deluxe and 1963.5 Ranchero.

 

I have started slogging thru all the stuff I have to do to make it right mechanically . More rust than I expected and rusty bolts . I guess that's what makes this hobby fun.
