Almost a year start to finish. Full cosmetic resto. Ready to be put on ice for the winter. Then I will show it next summer. Paint, woodgrain, all rechromed and polished. Had to manufacture parts of roof rack. Next winter I’ll pull the motor and detail engine bay.
Someone noticed! I thought things looked ‘wet’. Car was likely parked 12 mos at that point. Was maybe 45 degrees out. Low mile car so I am sure it isn’t a bad thing.
She's a looker, for sure! That interior is amazing. Pretty much every one of these I've seen pics of have had wear issues on the inside.
A fair share of the music is great and iconic (the Bee Gees and the Village Idiots, I mean, People notwithstanding), it was just the lifestyle and clothing that makes me vurp.
Since I wasn't yet born for over another decade I have no idea what the lifestyle was; I just like a portion of the Bee Gees' music, having listened since I was a little kid. My biggest favorite's "Turn of the Century," from their first big selling album "Bee Gees' 1st" released in 1967. I haven't heard the whole Bee Gees catalog.
I grew up listening to rock, my father would have Stones, Nazareth and others just cranked in the big green Chrysler wagon. Great times on road trips with the windows shaking.
The only Chrysler I had was a Cordoba, and it came with a factory 8-track and a box of rock tapes, like the Eagles.
