    I really did not have to restore anything except a few parts that normally just wear out or degrade with sitting. I wish I could of restored my elbow through after two days of polishing the chrome and waxing the original paint. I think it must have been a real treat for that old paint to get a couple coats of carnauba wax on it when it was use to Turtle wax from back in it's day.

    Great story! Quite a rare vehicle, by 1964 most big Fords had automatic transmission and power steering, brakes, and often power windows and around here air conditioning. As your Dad said, just more to repair.

    Fantastic story about a fantastic car! She's a beauty, and with a neat family history. I'm glad you get to enjoy her as your father did. Please post lots of photos when you take her out on adventures!
