I don't know if they will work on your Ranchero or not. After they redesigned the front end in '03 they went to a high offset "FWD" style wheel. You might have to run spacers to use them on your car. The older 16" wheels might fit better.

They would, but I think 17s would look better, and I would not mind spacers. I'm not looking to drag or slalom, or to carry heavy loads.

My '85 Crown Vic wagon had 14"" wheels stock equipped, with vaguely 1954-looking wheel covers, but with the same bolt pattern as the other three '80s Crown Vic wagons I had, which were all equipped with 15" wheels. Not like the '73 -'78 15" wheels, which are pretty much unobtainable.

The '73-'78 cars were the 'full size' cars, and, like my Ranchero, the slightly smaller '72-'79 cars were the 'intermediate' cars; when Ford redesigned the lines in '79, the 'intermediate' size became the downsized 'full size' and the Fox-platform cars introduced in '78 with the Fairmont were 'compact' cars. Sooooo, the 15" wheels of the '73-'78 cars had a different bolt spacing and hub center, and didn't fit the intermediates anymore than they would fit the downsized full size cars.
