    Hi,
    I just bought a 1969 Fairlane Station Wagon. I cannot find a gas sending unit for a station wagon.

    I also need a left rear over the wheel interior shield. It's the part that goes over the rear wheel in back of the car. If anyone knows where I can locate these parts please contact me. joebeatle64@aol.com

    Welcome to the forum, Joe......

    Sending units can be troublesome for us wagon owners, as more often than not, our units are different from the sending units found in sedan versions of our vehicles - making them less likely to be manufactured by aftermarket suppliers. For your wagon, you might have to do some investigative work, to see what other sending units could work for your application. I'd start with checking on later year Torino wagon (and Mercury Montego) applications, or even a large Ford wagon one.....

    I'm also wondering if there's perhaps some firm out there that rebuilds them.... I just did a Google on 'Rebuilt fuel sending units' and did get a lot of hits. This is just one that showed up near the top - no personal experience with 'Bob'....
