I just got my Camry 94 with 3rd row, Im very happy. Any ideas on how to improve the look of the headlights? by that I mean Id like the front end to be more interesting. I live near Seattle. this vehicle even has a hitch.
How about showing US a photo of the front end so WE can see the headlights and get some sense of what's there now. Otherwise, we're flying blind.
Congrats! Maybe add some "eyelids"? I added some to my Dodge Magnum. And we added some to my son's Chrysler 300, by painting them to the inside of some clear headlight covers. Here's an example of the Magnum eyelids. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Made-to-fi...m3ac84096a9:m:mUgAu8reDYkvDp_WMIqfe1w&vxp=mtr I don't see any for a Camry as old as yours, so you might have to make something yourself.
Welcome to the forum, NW Camry94.... Here's a generic pic that gives folks an idea of the front-end appearance: I kind of enjoy giving advice on vehicle appearance.....so, as long as you're asking: - Are your composite headlamps clouded? There's two ways to go here. Cheapest is probably a kit to sand and polish the plastic lenses. Lots of videos on-line about this. Look up 'headlight restoration' or some such. You can also get replacement aftermarket headlamp assemblies. Check on the cost for those before you invest in a lot of money for supplies for the restoration - it might be a bit more for new ones, but you might decide the extra money is worth it. - I've got another couple of tips for improving the looks of your wagon. It could use some additional accent coloring. I would suggest some thin automotive tape striping - maybe two colors, Orange and maybe gold? about 1/4 inch wide each, no more, with about a 1/16 inch gap between them. Place the stripes in only ONE of these two areas: A. Along the styling line that runs just below the front lamps, all the way to below the tail lamp - clearly visible in the above pic. DO NOT run the stripes AROUND the wheel opening moldings - simply cut it off where it meets the opening, and continue it on the other side. B. Start on the fender, just above the side turning lamp, continue the stripes down the side, just below the side windows, and 'flip' the stripes up where the quarter side window goes up to the roof at the back of the wagon. Stop at the top rear corner of the side window. Another suggestion: Change your alloy wheels. LOTS of wheel options available for this Camry. I was always partial to THIS particular wheel, which came on the later Camry Solara 2-door. It has the same exact 5 x 114.3 wheel bolt pattern that your Camry has, and is a 16" wheel (your current wheels are probably 15") These wheels will bolt on your wagon without modification - all you need to do is get new tires with them. You should be able to find some used ones in excellent condition, for not much money. Good luck with your wagon! Marshall
