Those center caps have a bad habit of falling off while driving down the road. My grandfather fixed that problem on the 78 he had by bolting them to the wheel instead of using the screw through the plastic retainer the factory gave them. I had a lot of trouble just finding the replacement center caps in wrecking yards so he didn't want to lose anymore after the 3rd one. The Lincoln caps are more plentiful. His also had the 400 and you could watch the gas guage drop as you drove through town! His was a stunning car in red with red leather and red vinyl top complete with sunroof.
