Gawd. That's a good looking roller skate. The only thing I would do is call and make sure it's not stolen. It IS in Houston after all. Texas mike could drive down from Austin and throw it in the back of the road master. Someone get this!!

I am pretty confident that is not the actual car pictured. If you google AMC Pacer X that is one of the pictures that shows up. My guess is the actual car may not look quite as good.

How can you complain about 'bait and switch' if the car's free?

Both good points. The only complaint that would be warranted would be that to the ranger wondering why you ve got out of state plates with a stolen pacer on your trailer. My favorite Texas road sign:

I'm not complaining about anything. I just hope if someone goes to look at the car they aren't surprised when they get there and see that it is likely in much worse shape than the picture represents.

Well whatever it looks like, it would still be a good candidate for a Wayne's World tribute...

I remember when my brother Tim and I saw "Wayne's World" in the theater, and as soon as Mike Myers pops in the tape and they begin singing, my brother starts laughing. I asked him what was so funny, and he said he and his friends would do the same thing when he was in high school! (He graduated in '76)

That could be honest rust. If only the floorboards need replacing, I'd go for it. No 302, please. I'd stuff anything 360 AMC and up, in it. I wonder how much that rear glass is worth. Selling it might help recuperate expenses. Then, I'm create a small pick-up out of it:

I wonder if anyone's ever tried to autocross a Pacer, or put an Eagle drivetrain in one to make it AWD.
