That's a really clean one! Remember what I said about slamming the doors. You don't want those door panels to crack.

Also remembered something else, the center arm rest between the front seats is a little fragile. They only used this arm rest/cargo console for part of '95 and in '96, and the leather-covered flip-up lid is made of plastic. If you put much weight on it, it cracks inside and the leather will start peeling off. Dont' push your hands down on it to adjust your weight in the seat....my Dad did that and mine is broken now, and they are HARD to find. They used the same arm rest in Fleetwoods, but all I've found in the salvage yards are broken too.

Just trying to pass on all I can think of.

That's SUCH a pretty one. Nice find!

Thanks for the nice comments! It's the original LT1 350, I just did the Vette fuel rail cover mod, which is a bit of a project but makes people do triple-takes at the cruise-in's. :rofl2: These use the same intakes as the Vette's so the mounting points are there for the Vette fuel rail covers, but you have to re-route the wiring harness and move some things around. I did it over the weekend and it's my favorite mod after the Impala wheels.

Also did the "Home Depot" intake mod to get rid of the intake baffles (much cheaper than a K&N), a Z28 EGR valve, and replaced the stock HUGE mufflers with Flowmaster 40's, but kept the resonators, so it has a nice "Chris Craft" burble but it still quiet on the highway.

So the 1995 I just got has a "tow package" based on a mechanical fan, an electric fan and an external transmission cooler?

    Thanks

I think '96 was the first and only year for dual electric fans.

    Yes sir! Tow away! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

That also mean you have the lower-geared posi rear axle. Nice!

Nope, non-tow-pack cars had dual electric fans from 94-96.

    Hey be nice now.

I posted your car on the Longroof forum and the local Austin car club forum. If I had the funds I'd buy it for my Dadl He loved my car and would love one of his own.

You'll sell it soon I'm sure!

By the way...the posi in the tow pack car is a 2.93 not a 3.93.
I converted my wagon to the 2 electric fans but it came as a tow car with the one fan each originally.

    Yep, that's what I meant. Can't type I guess. Glad it's not a 3.93, I'd be getting about 10mpg! Ha!

Hey off topic but I hate to see you sell Tiki. I like that Sport Wagon a lot but hate to see you're Roady leave to get it. The Sport Wagon is a great toy but the Roady is both a great toy and a real usable vehicle when needed.

If the older wagon was in your budget without losing your Roady I'd say nab it in a heartbeat.

Got my 96 with 75,000. One owner car with the tow package. Rear has 3:08's and is not good on gas. Overdrive doesn't kick until 53 ish mph but I don't care. I have over $9,000 into it with all new front and rear suspension. Plus a lot of other upgrades, but it's all good. It's my daily, motor, transmission, rear end and my bikes. Things a beast but like that LT-1
