IMG_0270.JPG Been looking for some wheelcovers to replace the fake wire type I don't like and finally found some that fit the bill. I put them on the wagon today and really like the difference they made to the appearance. They were actually meant for a Buick Electra but look great on the Caprice. Nice upgrade. Polish them and they will look a lot better.

I had those wire hubcaps on my 1980Malibu I towed behind my motorhome. Was surprised how heavy wire hubcaps are. Still looked nicer than the little dogdish stock caps.

Maybe pick up some glue on center cap covers.:2cents:

tn_DSCN3069.JPG Those are correct for 67 & 68 Electra 225's... one of the nicest wheel covers made! I need to find better centers for mine, as the colors in the trishield are badly faded.

They look great!! IMG_0614.JPG these are caprice from the 80s I think, which looks close to what you have except not as good as those smooth Buick cover... IMG_0615.JPG tthe 9os cover I've always thought looked great as well. It's amazing what a difference a new pair of shoes makes

I love them and the pics are straight out of the shipping box, no work involved. I thought about stick on Chevy centers but two of the Buick ones are in fantastic shape and I wouldn't want to ruin them, besides they don't say Buick anywhere on them. Another cover I was considering was from 1963 Imperials but never could find a set in great shape for a less than ridiculous price. These also fit, just barely, on the wheels without having to take the wire cap retainers off. If I could find a Malibu rallye center cap for cheap I would see if they bolt onto their retainer ring (four screws) with the same spacing as the centers on these, then get four with spinner bars on them. Oh, wait, I wasn't going to spend money on this car anymore, :rofl2:.

Hands down my favorite color and agreed it would be weird if they actually had "Buick" written somewhere on them, but just the red, white, and blue banners makes you look twice which is always good in my book. You could really throw people off by cleaning off all the lettering, badges and dare I say, hood ornament?!?
