    Hello Station Wagon forum,

I live in west central Florida in a little town called Homosassa (stop laughing I'm sensitive). I have a 92 Custom Cruiser, I loved this style since they first came out with them. I have had it for about 7 years and grew up in a 63 & then a 68 Chevy wagon until Dad traded it for a 78 Camaro. I also love performance & Camaro's and have been spending time on 5thgen.org watching the development of the new Camaro but I don't feel like I fit in there any more. I found this site when I found out about the CTS-wagon and was looking up info on it. I have also discovered the Holden Clubsport, I realy wish they would bring that over here I would get a second job to pay for it.

After looking through the gallery I would like to compliment everyone restoring & fixing up wagons I never would have guessed there were so many people who still liked them. All this time I thought I was the only jerk people were laughing at, LOL, most people get a constipated look on their face and ask "why did you buy a wagon". I just tell them "geniuses are always misunderstood". If wagons become poplular can we say we started the trend.

    Thanks for this site,
    DonDon

:Welcome:Welcome DonDon. Yes we are all nuts aren't we. I think some of us have them because of childhood memories. I learned to drive in a 66 Chevy Bel Air wagon. And some of us simply like them. I'm on my third wagon now. First was the 73 Pinto Squire. After the kids were born (twins) I switched to a 73 Gran Torino wagon. Now I have the Cougar wagon that I got when I loaned my Ranger to my son after his car got nailed in Bakersfield. Honda Civics don't do well when hit by a bigger car. So, being without a truck I found the wagon. It was meant to be temporary and toss it away when my truck came home. When the tranny quit the sensable thing would be to have it hauled off. NOT! I had to keep it.

It's really a bug. Once you get it you can't cure it.:rofl2:Almost like a booger you can't flick off your finger.:rofl2:

So, you are stuck. A wagonaire forever. Sometimes you can go without for a while but you can't go without forever.

But you must have seen it before!!!!!

Ok, you're sensitive, so I won't get sassa with ya! I was gonna say that there's an echo in the room, DonDon, but there must be a story to that. AND I think your "geniuses are always misunderstood" line is perfect for your signature (change your member profile?) I'm laughing my a$$ off at that 'constipated look'. When she's cleaned up, I get a lot of thumbs up and no finger-birds! :biglaugh::Welcome:

You're not in the comedy buisness are ya? Good sense of humour. Welcome aboard.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I almost forgot to thank Stephan for getting me logged in.

I saw some fine print about pic's. I don't have any but I will take some after my new wheels next week.

    Thanks,
    Don

He spells it with an "F" - Stefan. I don't want him associated with our Canadian Prime Minister. Stefan is twice the man.:D

Looking forward to the pics. (y)
