First off its been a while since I have been on here. Been busy and just have not had time to do much on the wagon. I want to drive the wagon and enjoy it more and I need to upgrade the suspension. I have cut springs right now to lower it and they are not working out. I want to install air ride so I can adjust it and make it ride better. I do like the lowered look but want to do it right. Any suggestions ?I can use most kits that work on a 63-65 Buick Riviera .
There's all kinds of aftermarket kits; the ones favored by street rodders who do not go hydraulics are the ones that are a replacement for the springs themselves. You have the bag spring kit, the air line hardware kit and the compressor and control kit. You only need to find which bag springs will fit the wagon's spring perches, with little or no mods. You can start off by calling Summit and/or Jegs to get an idea what you would use, then hit up Amazon and eBay to see if you can find them for cheaper prices.
Whatever it takes for you to enjoy the wagon to it's fullest potential is money well spent. Air ride is a great way to achieve the look you want and drivability. In the end it comes down to budget. I say find a system that works for your car and budget and make it happen!

First, plug that kit's part number into Amazon, and it should kick out any other kits they have, but since you want good ride quality and height control, and you can hang with the price, that Level 1 kit will do just fine.
keep in mind this will mess with your alignment as every lb of air can change the ride height altering alignment. better then cutting the springs would be a set of lowering springs. this will keep the ride height constant so you can easily align the front end. I have had air ride now on my wagon for 15 yrs I now have ride height sensors and pressure sensors and installation is quite involved. I started with a level 1 kit and have made several updates to maintain a decent alignment
