Not a bad leak, but a slow leak. Should I attempt a repair kit or suck it up and get a new tank?

I have not been able to find a comparable tank for my 67 Country Sedan.

Where is it leaking and why? Bad seam, rust hole, bad rubber grommet.
That will determine your course of action.
Take it to a radiator shop. If they are worth a damn, they can hot tank it and solder patches to most leaks.

x 2 on the radiator shop, look for an old time place that's been around.
Just one word of caution, those guys paint everything black when they're done.
If you want to paint it or clear it to look like the original bare metal tell them no paint beforehand.

LPS used to sell galvanizing in a spray can. Once your tank has been hot tanked, that's what I would spray it with before reinstallation.

It depends on where the leak is and how bad. One leak usually ends up two or more.
Take it with the tank in if not a bad leak, to a shop and perhaps they can repair it in the wagon. Do not smoke or play with fire.

Yea, I don't think you can get a "new" tank. There is so little available for our 67's.

Looks like you got some good advice on repairing it. Good luck!
