'79 Honda Civic with Elf/Manx body kit on eBay - Sherwood Park, AB

Interesting. Kind of ugly, but apparently rare. Lack of windows could be a problem in most climates. Looks a bit like an amphi-car, but I wouldn't drive this one into a lake. At least not deliberately.

I think I'd just as soon have a TR-8 if I wanted a wedge-shaped convertible.

And its in Alberta? I can't imagine there is a large market for a warm weather only car there. The 5,000 original miles makes a lot more sense now that I see were its located. You definatly would have the only one ate the cruise in!

Don't know why the seller is calling it a "Manx ELF". Seems it was called the Spex Elf.

This write-up says only 20 were produced. Rare, but ugly.
