These stories amaze me! Just how many barn and garage finds are still out there just waiting to be found and enjoyed again?

I keep wondering that too Model T1. The more the better!

This is my own discovery story: A 1970 Chevrolet Caprice Custom Coupe that I found and purchased from its original owner in TN in 2012. It had been sitting in a climate-controlled garage with dust cover on it since 1992 with less than 80K miles on it. I got it running again with just new fluids, belts, hoses, brakes, tires and a battery. Was a great car!

I know of 2 Cadillac's just down the road from where I live. They are in an open air garage (ie no roof) just some tin doors shielding them from the world, with just a small square cut out so you can access the lock from the outside. I'll stick my camera in/over next time I go past. I'm not 100% sure what they are, just done a google image search, to see what the various models looked like. I reckon they are 58, either Coupe deville or Fleetwood. I think. Pics coming later today, as my interest is piqued by this thread now too.

Many years ago, maybe in the 80's, we belonged to a camping club. I liked taking rides in the country and I remember finding a run down barn with a few very old Rolls Royce touring cars inside. My wife and I were walking around in the barn. The old farm house was run down and apparently not lived in for years.
We weren't far off the dirt road and got caught by what may have been the owner. We were warned about trespass and maybe being shot. We got the heck out of there and never went back.
I've always wonderd about those old RR cars. I picture the roof sagging and holes in it. These were the very old RR, large and maybe with brass lights but so long ago I can't remember.
    Hope they weren't scrapped.

I worked on an old mansion in the 70's with my Dad, the water froze in the toilets and and burst them apart so the water was running all over the place for days. We were the first ones in and fixed all the buckled oak floors and replaced plumbing fixtures. The place had about ten bathrooms so it was a job.
An old lady lived there for forever and had passed away a few months before and nobody winterized the house, relatives all lived out of town and they just wanted it fixed and sold fast.
The place was like a time capsule from the early 1940's, even the toilet paper and cleaning supplies were from that era, it looked like a movie set. There was an attached coach house/garage and there were four Cadillacs in it covered with dust and old newspapers. You could hardly see the cars, tons of junk around them including four old bank safes about six feet tall. They were late 40's early 50's?, a limo, a convertible and two four doors. An estate liquidator dealer came and bought everything, never heard what happened to those cars or what was in the safes. The cars were cool but not many people wanted them back then including me, they probably went to the boneyard. :(

So a little bit of snooping around just now. Some are taken through the fence, some from above. Perhaps someone can tell what they are?? They look to be matching, and a bit worse for wear. I have some more pics, similar kind of angles etc, if that would help identify. They can't be that 'unknown' as in the first pic, their is a roof top balcony behind the black meshing/fence top right hand corner. Those people know they are there too!.

Looking at it today, to the right of cars, a locked garage with bollard in front of the door makes me wonder if there isn't something else more valuable hiding behind there....:scratchchin::scratchchin::scratchchin:

    1959 Cadillacs.
Cool find, but they look pretty scruffy...
it would be fun to get them running and use them as daily drivers!
