Stations wagons as official cars at the Indy 500

1953 Indy 500 : not sure if this black wagon was an official car or not

 

The above Chrysler is a '62, and the Dodge is a '64.

 

There was at least 3 wagons in the 1977 Oldsmobile official cars :

 

I remember the article in Car and Driver. It was originally a one-off fully police-spec wagon that the Corvette team abducted from Chevy R&D.

 

The Wagonaire was not introduced until '1963, so that wagon would be 'just a Lark'

Who decided a tree in the middle of the pic was a good idea??
Since they're all Fords in the picture I would say it's a Ford wagon??
My guess is maybe around an '81 LTD?
